WHAT ARE INDICES?

Indices Trading is where traders attempt to make profit from price movements.

There are a variety of indices for trading which measure the performance of stock and other markets including countries or types of commodity.

Indices trades focus on either single index or trade various indices as part of the wider strategy.

It is not possible to buy or sell and index that you would usually on a stock or commodity, as they are purely indicators of the prices of movements from several assets and have to physical basis to trade. 

Indices price movements are impacted by factors like political events, favors which affect companies, and economic date like employment figures in the currencies market.
